1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using StudyBridge, you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the platform.

2. Eligibility

StudyBridge is available to students aged 14 and over who attend the school. By creating an account, you confirm you are at least 14 years old.

3. Account Responsibilities

  • You must provide accurate information when creating your account
  • You are responsible for keeping your password secure — do not share it with others
  • You must not create accounts for other people
  • You must not use another person's account

4. Acceptable Use

When using StudyBridge, you agree to:

  • Use the platform only for its intended purpose: peer tutoring
  • Treat all users with respect and courtesy
  • Not submit false or misleading information
  • Not harass, bully, or behave inappropriately towards other users
  • Not attempt to access other users' accounts or data
  • Not use the platform for any illegal activity
  • Attend sessions you have committed to, or cancel in reasonable time

5. Tutoring Sessions

  • All tutoring is provided by student volunteers and is free of charge
  • StudyBridge does not guarantee the availability, quality, or accuracy of tutoring
  • Sessions should take place on school premises during school-related hours where possible
  • StudyBridge is not responsible for outcomes of tutoring sessions

6. Content and Reviews

Reviews and feedback must be honest and respectful. StudyBridge reserves the right to remove content that is offensive, misleading, or violates these terms.

7. Intellectual Property

The StudyBridge platform, including its design, code, and branding, is the intellectual property of the project creator. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute any part of the platform.

8. Limitation of Liability

StudyBridge is provided “as is” without any warranties. The project creator and platform operators are not liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential damages arising from use of the platform, including but not limited to academic outcomes, scheduling issues, or interpersonal disputes.

9. Account Suspension

StudyBridge reserves the right to suspend or delete accounts that violate these terms, engage in inappropriate behaviour, or misuse the platform. Users will be notified via email.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
